Mel Tillis Heads to Big Apple for National Media Appearances in Support of Debut Comedy Album

Nashville, TN – September 20, 2010 - It’s a big week for country music’s iconic funnyman, Mel Tillis. Tonight, Tillis receives the Academy of Country Music’s Cliffie Stone Pioneer Award and tomorrow, Tuesday, September 21, will release his debut comedy album, You Ain’t Gonna Believe This… (Show Dog-Universal Music).

Also this week, in addition to a slew of Nashville media stops, (CMT Radio, CMT.com, RFD's Crook & Chase, WZTV's Tennessee Mornings, WSMV's Better Nashville, WTVF's Talk of the Town) the Country Music Hall of Famer will head to New York City for national appearances with the Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends, FoxNews.com’s Strategy Room and Sirius-XM Satellite Radio.
